This chart shows the historical results of the CNN Poll on how the public approves of how the party leaders in congress do their job. The latest CNN News / SSRS Poll was done between September 17th and 20th of a random national sample of 1,053 adults, with a 3.7 point margin of error. Note that approval of Republican leaders has reached a record low for this survey.
