The newest NBC News / Wall Street Journal Poll puts Donald Trump's job approval at 38 and disapproval at 58%. That 38% is a new low in this poll.
The NBC News / Wall Street Journal Poll was done between October 23rd and 26th of a random national sample of 900 adults (including 753 registered voters), and has a margin of error of 3.3 points (3.6 for registered voters).
The same poll showed that voters have a widening preference for Democrats to control Congress (see chart below).
