This shows one reason why the Republicans may be in trouble in the coming election. They support Trump's position on every issue. Unfortunately for them, the American public disagrees.
The public gives Trump significant support on only one issue -- the handling of veterans affairs (44% to 36%). On two other issues, the public is split right down the middle -- terrorism (42% to 41%) and the economy (41% to 42%). On all of the remaining issues, there is significant opposition to how Trump is handling them.
This chart is made using info from the newest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between December 17th and 19th of a random national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,291 registered voters), with a 3.1 point margin of error.
