Trump's job approval numbers have been upside-down since he was sworn in, and he hasn't been able to change that. The chart above is from the new CBS News Poll -- done between March 8th and 11th of a random national sample of 1,223 adults, with a margin of error of 3 points. Note that Trump's net job approval is a negative 19 points.
