These charts reflect the results of a new Fox News Poll -- done between August 19th and 21st of a national sample of 1,009 registered voters, with a 3 point margin of error.
They show the Democrats are in good position for the midterm election in November. They have a generic ballot lead of 11 points, and the Democratic Party is viewed more favorably than unfavorably by 4 points. It is the opposite for the Republican Party. They are viewed more unfavorably than favorably by 17 points.
And when you look at the issues, it doesn't look like Trump will be any help to Republicans. Of 7 major issues, the public has a majority opposing Trump's policies on six of those issues.
These numbers predict a blue wave. But while that should happen, it will only become real if the Democrats (and Independents) turn out to vote in large numbers.
