Trump Job Approval Went Down This Week
These charts reflect the results of the latest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done on September 2nd and 3rd of a national sample of 1,500 adults, with a 3 point margin of error.
It shows that Trump's job approval dropped from 41% to 38% this week. This is probably because the public did not like his reaction to Senator McCain's death.
It will be interesting in the coming few weeks to see if Bob Woodward's book will affect Trump's job approval -- especially among Southerners. The book related to Trump making fun of Sessions Southern accent, and his calling him a dumb Southerner.
Trump's strongest base of support is in the South, but Southerners do not like people making fun of them (especially New Yorkers like Trump). Are they going to register their displeasure with Trump over this? Or are they part of the "Trump could shoot someone and not lose support" crowd?
