Democrats Still Hold A Generic Ballot Advantage

Early voting has started in many states, and this poll shows Democrats still have the advantage (47% to 41%)  among registered voters. Republicans have the advantage among men, those over 65, and whites. But Democrats have larger advantages among women, those under 65, and minorities.

These charts reflect the results of the newest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between October 21st and 23rd of a national sample of 1,233 registered voters, with a 2.9 point margin of error.
