A Solid Majority Of Voters Favor Marijuana Legalization
These charts are from the newest Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between March 1st and 4th of a national sample of 1,120 voters, with a 3.4 point margin of error.
It shows that a significant majority of U.S. voters favor the legalization of marijuana possession and use -- and that support has been strong for several years now. Currently, about 60% (or 6 out of 10 voters) support legalization. That includes both genders, all races/ethnicities, and three out of four age groups (only those over 65 disagree, by a slim 5 points).
It is time to legalize marijuana nationwide. Our current ;was against marijuana make no sense.
