Plurality Of Voters Say Trump Supports White Nationalists

These two charts reflect the results of a new Huffington Post / YouGov Poll -- done on March 15th and 16th of a national sample of 1,000 adults, with a 3.4 point margin of error.

Is white national a serious problem in the United States? A majority of adults (51%) and registered voters (55%) say it does. And every demographic group but one agrees with that assessment. The only group disagreeing is Republicans.

Perhaps most important though is the bottom chart. It shows the responses when the poll's respondents were asked if Donald Trump supports white nationalism. A plurality of adults (39%) and registered voters (44%) said he does. Only 19% of adults and 23% of registered voters said he doesn't.

Frankly, I'm a bit surprised that the figures that say he supports white nationalism weren't higher. Trump has not tried to hide his bigotry/racism. He seems to be proud of it.
