These charts reflect the results of the latest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between October 27th and 29th of a national sample of 1,274 registered voters, with a 2.8 point margin of error.
About half of registered voters already think Trump committed an impeachable offense and want him removed from office. This is before any public hearings have been held. Once the public hearings start, things could quickly go south for Trump. And then the Senate GOP would have a dilemma. Do they continue to defend Trump with the public against him? That could be disastrous in the next election.
