Biden, Warren, & Sanders Still Leading The Democratic Field

The charts above reflect the results of the latest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between January 5th and 7th of 578 registered voters nationwide who say they will vote in a Democratic primary/caucus.

The media has made a lot of news talking about how well Buttigieg is polling in Iowa, but nationwide the poll results are very different. Nationwide Buttigieg struggles to get in double digits, while Biden and Warren and Sanders are far ahead. Unless there is a radical change in the next few weeks, this is a three-person race.

The poll also asked the respondents if they would be disappointed if certain candidates won the nomination. That chart is below. The three candidates that would disappoint Democrats the most are Gabbard (43%), Williamson (39%), and Bloomberg (29%). The candidates that would cause the least disappointment are Warren (11%) and Booker (13%)
