Bloomberg Moves Up Sharply In New National Poll
The chart above reflects the results of the new Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between February 5th and 9th of a national sample of 665 Democratic and Democratic-leaning Independent voters, with a 3.8 point margin of error.
Sanders supporters will celebrate the fact that he finished first in this poll. But the most remarkable result of the poll is where two other candidates finished. Joe Biden has slid downward significantly, and Mike Bloomberg has risen significantly.
It looks like Biden's poor showing in Iowa (and in New Hampshire polls) has hurt him. And the main beneficiary of that is Michael Bloomberg. If Biden does poorly today in New Hampshire (and then underperforms in Nevada and South Carolina), then we may see Bloomberg making a big splash on Super Tuesday (March 3rd when 14 states vote).
