The chart above shows stock market (DJI) closings in 2020. On February 15th, the market closed at 29,220. On March 12th, it closed at 21,200. That's a drop of 8,020 points in less than a month -- about 27.45%.
Why is it happening? Because investors know that the Coronavirus pandemic is going to significantly affect the economy -- and they also know that the Trump administration doesn't have a clue as to how to deal with either the virus or its economic effect.
