It's finally over. At 10:25am CST, Joe Biden was declared the winner of the presidential election! Pennsylvania put him over the top with its 20 electoral votes, giving him 273 electoral votes. It's very likely that he will also win in Arizona, Nevada, and Georgia -- which would put him over 300 electoral votes.
This also means Kamala Harris will be our new Vice-President -- the first woman (and the daughter of immigrants from India and Jamaica) to hold that office in this nation's history.
And Americans celebrated in cities across the country.
