The Number Of COVID-19 Deaths In Each State


The chart above is from The Washington Post. It shows the number of new cases of COVID-19 is continuing to rise in the United States. And the death toll is already well over 300,000 cases nationwide.

The good news is that there are now two vaccines available, and there may be more fairly soon. The bad news is that it's very likely to be another 6 months or more before the virus is actually brought under control. In that time period, there will be many more deaths.

The numbers below are from The COVID Tracking Project. They show the number of COVID-19 deaths in each state through Saturday, December 19th (at 6:00pm CST).
