These charts are from the University of Houston / YouGov Poll -- done between January 12th and 20th of a random sample of 1,329 Texas adults, with a 2.7 point margin of error.
The top chart regards political reforms that have been proposed. The second consider the George Floyd Act and its major components. The third is on the legalization of marijuana. The fourth is on expanding Medicaid. And the fifth shows views on energy sources.
You might be surprised at the answers given. They show that Texans are more liberal than the Republican politicians that run the state.
Democrats must do a better job of pointing out that the Republicans oppose almost everything the citizens want.
