Republican politicians are still denying climate change is happening or that it's not caused by human activity, and their base agrees with them. But the rest of the country knows better. They know that climate change has been caused by human activity (overuse and misuse of fossil fuels).
The chart above reflects the results of the latest Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between September 4th and 7th of a national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,264 registered voters). The margin of error for adults is 2.8 points, and for registered voters is 3 points.
