Emmett Till Antilynching Act Becomes Law


Lynching is now a federal hate crime that is punishable by 30 years in prison. It became law yesterday when it was signed by President Biden. The bill had passed unanimously in the Senate. Three Republicans voted against it in the House of Representatives -- Chip Roy (Texas), Andrew Clyde (Georgia), and Thomas Massie (Kentucky).
