NBC/WSJ Poll Shows Clinton Has Increased Her Lead
On Tuesday, NBC News and the Wall Street Journal released their poll on how the Democratic race stands after the first debate. The NBC News / Wall Street Journal Poll was done between October 15th and 18th of a random national sample of 400 Democratic primary voters, and has a margin of error of 4.9 points.
This survey has some good news for Hillary Clinton. It shows she has increased her support by 7 points, while Bernie Sanders has lost 6 points since September. These are significant figures (since both exceed the margin of error. It means that Clinton has increased her lead from 7 points in September to 20 points in October. And if you take Joe Biden out of the race, her lead increases from 15 points in September to 25 points in October.
Evidently the voters saw what they wanted to see in Clinton's debate performance -- and they are reassured that she is the candidate they want for the presidential nomination.
