Just wanted to make the point again that there is ALWAYS redistribution in this economic system (and in all others). The Republicans want that redistribution to take money from the middle class, the poor, and the elderly, and send it up to the rich. Is that what you want? Wouldn't our economy not only be fairer, but also healthier, if the redistribution went down from the top instead of up to the top? Demand (and therefore jobs) is created when the mass of ordinary Americans have money to spend -- not by giving the richest people even more money.
Redistributing money from the 99% to the 1% is an end sum game.
