The GOP Has The Least Public Approval
While the Republicans have gerrymandered the House districts, allowing them to keep most of them, they still trail both the president and the Democrats in public approval. That was clearly demonstrated in the 2008 and 2012 elections. Now it is again verified by a recent political poll. The survey is the recent Bloomberg News Poll (done between September 20th and 23rd of 1,000 adults nationwide, with a 3.1 point margin of error). It shows the Republican Party trails the Democratic Party by 10 points nationwide, and they trail the president by 13 points.
