Even if Christie isn't involved in either "Bridgegate" or "Sandygate" his reputation is tarnished. The GOP didn't like him because he was willing to embrace Obama during the Sandy crisis and work across the aisle in NJ legislature. I wouldn't be surprised if a few Republicans are found hiding in the bushes feeding the "dog of investigatory leads" just so they won't have to consider Christie as a viable candidate in 2016. NJ politics looks like a re-run of the Sopranos.
