It's Zombie Day again -- the day that millions of supposedly rational people put logic aside and celebrate the rising from the dead of their favorite religious zombie. And according to their Bible (a book many say cannot be in error), Jesus wasn't the only zombie that rose from the dead at that time. According to the book of Matthew:
Matthew 27:51 - And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;
Matthew 27:52 - And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,
Matthew 27:53 - And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
That sounds like a pretty extraordinary event -- an event that would be eagerly recorded and reported by historians. How is it, I wonder, that none of them seem to have been aware of this momentous event? Could it be that it didn't really happen? Could it be that the Bible, like other religious books, is merely a book of myths written by leaders to subjugate and control the masses -- and is still used in that way?
I think you maybe on to something......
