Clinton's Support Is Growing Among New Hampshire Dems
A couple of months ago, the supporters of Bernie Sanders were celebrating because it looked like they could easily win the state of New Hampshire -- and they believed a win there could propel them to making the race close in other states, and possibly even help Sanders win the nomination.
But that was before Hillary Clinton performed well in the October 13th Democratic debate, and then a few days later, did exceptionally well under 11 hours of grueling questioning from the Republican-controlled Benghazi committee. Those excellent Clinton moments have injected new life into her campaign.
And that is even being seen in New Hampshire. In September, Sanders led Clinton by 8 points. Now Clinton is leading by 3 points (a significant 11 point change). That lead is within the margin of error of the new poll, so the best that can really be said is that new Hampshire could go either way -- for Clinton or for Sanders. But that is very good news for Hillary Clinton.
These numbers are for polls taken by the Monmouth University Poll. The latest was done between October 29th and November 1st of a random sample of 403 likely Democratic voters in New Hampshire, and has a margin of error of 4.9 points.
