New Polls Show Carson Could Be Losing Ground

I found these two new polls interesting, because they both show a wider gap between Donald Trump and Ben Carson than other polls have been showing. Is Carson's nuttiness starting to affect his presidential chances? Are Republican voters coming to their senses? Maybe.

The Reuters Poll was done between November 7th and 13th of a random national sample of 817 Republicans, and has about a 3.5 point margin of error.

The Rasmussen Poll was done on November 11th and 12th of a random national sample of 672 Republicans, and has a margin of error of 4 points.

  1. When a political party is in a situation where reinstating Trump as its front-runner constitutes its voters "coming to their senses", that party is in a very bad situation.:-)

  2. Honestly, how could Carson NOT fall? He has no record of any kind. ALL he had was a personal story, and now that's been broken into very confusing pieces.

It really is pretty notable that Trump has such staying power. He's not like Carson, Cain, Bachmann, or any of the flavor-of-the-week candidates that the GOP seems to excel in!
