This chart reflects the results of a recent Gallup Poll -- done between June 14th and 23rd of a random national sample of 1,025 adults, with a margin of error of 4 points.
Republican leaders have tried hard to blame President Obama for the current poor economy -- even though it was George W. Bush that trashed the economy, and a Republican Congress that obstructed all efforts to create jobs and improve the economy. While the rich and corporations have recovered from the Bush recession, most other Americans have not -- and that's the way Republicans like it.
Fortunately, most Americans realize the truth. They still blame Bush more for the current economic problems more than they blame Obama. That is not going to help the Republicans in the coming election -- especially since their new nominee for president basically supports the failed Bush economic policies.
