Obama Will Leave Office With High Job Approval Rating

It looks like President Obama is still viewed positively by the public as doing a good job. That probably won't change before he leaves office in a couple of months. The chart above shows two polls on his job approval rating. One gives him 51% approval and the other 54% approval.

The Economist / YouGov Poll was done between November 12th and 15th of a random national sample of 1,659 adults, and has a margin of error of 2.8 points.

The Politico / Morning Consult Poll was done between November 16th and 18th of a random national sample of 1,885 registered voters, and has a 2 point margin of error.
