Since his election, poll after poll has shown the American people believe Donald Trump is dishonest, unqualified, and temperamentally unfit to be president. The only positive trait the public attributed to Trump was that they thought he was a strong leader.
Unfortunately for him, the public now seems to be changing their mind about that. Two new polls show his leadership is now being questioned.
According to a new Rasmussen Poll (done on March 28th and 29th of a random national sample of 1,000 likely voters, with a 3 point margin of error), nearly half (48%) now say he is a poor leader -- while only 38% say he is a good leader.
His slide is also apparent in a new Economist / YouGov Poll (done between March 26th and 28th of a random national sample of 1,500 adults, with a margin of error of 3.1 points). That poll shows the public evenly divided on whether he is a weak or strong leader (50% to 50%).
Is it any wonder that his job approval continues to drop?
