The chart above shows the advantage that Democrats enjoy on generic ballot for the 2018 congressional election (from RealClearPolitics). The advantage varies according to the poll (ranging from 5 points to 16 points), but all the polls agree that Democrats currently enjoy an advantage. The RCP average of all the polls (which proved to be the most accurate in the last election) shows an 8.9 point advantage for Democrats.
