There are those who claim the two major political parties in the United States are the same. Sadly, this is even the opinion of some of my fellow leftists. It is also the opinion of many on the extreme right. Both are wrong.
The chart above (from politicsthatwork.com) shows the voting records of the Democratic and Republican parties. It shows they support (and vote for) very different things.
