Two New Polls Show No Change After Second Debates
The Democrats had their second set of debates a few days ago, and now that Democrats have considered Tham (those who watched), it seems that nothing has really changed. The same five candidates are leading the pack -- and in the same order as before the debates (in these two polls).
The top charts shows the results of the new Quinnipiac University Poll -- done between August 1st and 5th of a national sample of 807 Democrats and Independent leaners. It has a margin of error of about 4.1 points.
The bottom chart shows the results of the new Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between August 3rd and 6th of a national sample of 1,500 adults -- including 573 Democrats and Leaners. The margin of error for adults is 2.6 points. No margin of error was given for Democrats/Leaners, but it is likely about 5 points.
