Voters Think Health Is More Important Than The Economy

The chart above is from the Politico / Morning Consult Poll -- done between April 10th and 12th of a national sample of 1,990 registered voters, with a 2 point margin of error.

It shows that Donald Trump doesn't really understand the mood of the country. He's determined to end the stay-at-home orders and reopen the economy. But the voters disagree. A substantial majority of them believe the health of Americans is more important than the economy.

They know we can revive the economy when the virus is under control -- although it won't be easy. But you can't revive the dead. It's more important to save lives.
