The Labor Department released its unemployment statistics for June on Friday. It showed that that 850,000 workers went back to work in June. But the size of the civilian work force rose by 151,000 and the number of unemployed workers rose by 168,000 -- combining to cause a small jump in the unemployment rate of 0.1% to 5.9% for the month.
