Sanders Rising In Minnesota & N. Hampshire - Still Behind

Two new state polls have been released in the race for the Democratic nomination -- and Bernie Sanders is doing very well in both (much better than he is doing nationwide). But he still trails Hillary Clinton in both states -- 18 points in Minnesota, and 13 points in New Hampshire (but by only 6 points among all possible primary voters, instead of just Democrats). The demographic breakdown of the support for both leading candidates is shown in the charts below.

Public Policy Polling did the survey in Minnesota between July 30th and August 2nd. They questioned a random sample of 426 Democrats, and the poll has a margin of error of 4.9 points.

The numbers for New Hampshire come from the WMUR Granite State Poll -- done between July 22nd and 30th of a random sample of 276 Democratic voters, with a margin of error of 5.9 points.
