Insurers: The Latest Version Of Trumpcare Is "Unworkable"
Doctors and hospitals have expressed their opposition to the Senate's latest version of Trumpcare. Now insurers are joining in that opposition. The CEO's of America's Health Insurance Plans and Blue Cross Blue Shield have sent a letter to Senate Majority Leader McConnell and Minority Leader Schumer. Note they say the Senate plan is unworkable, would undermine protections for those with pre-existing conditions, would raise the cost of insurance premiums, and would lead to widespread terminations of insurance coverage. That's a pretty broad condemnation of the Senate plan.
