Six Out Of Ten People Believe Our Congress Is Corrupt
Congress is the branch of our federal government that is closest to the American people, but many Americans have lost faith in that institution. They believe it is corrupt. A substantial majority (60%) of Americans believe that most members of Congress would be willing to sell their vote for cash or a large campaign contribution.
This is from a recent Rasmussen Poll -- done on June 20th and 21st of a random national sample of 1,000 likely voters, with a 3 point margin of error.
