Two More Polls Show Democrats With A Small Advantage

Yesterday, I showed you a CNN Poll showing Democrats had a small advantage in favorability over Republicans among the general public. Now there are two more polls verifying that result.

The Gallup Poll shows Democrats are viewed more favorably by 8 point, and the YouGov Poll has that at 11 point. The Gallup Poll shows Democrats are viewed less unfavorably than Republicans by 8 points, and the YouGov Poll has that at 11 points.

It's still 13 months before the next election, and lots can happen. But the current advantage of Democrats is good news -- if they can get their supporters to the polls in large numbers.

The Gallup Poll was done between September 6th and 10th of a random national sample of 1,022 adults, with a 4 point margin of error.

The Economist / YouGov Poll was done between September 17th and 19th of a random national sample of 1,500 adults (including 1,292 registered voters), with a 3 point margin of error.
