New Polls Show Democrats Extending Their Lead

This has got to have Republicans worried. Four new polls show Democrats have extended their generic ballot lead to double-digits (from 11 to 14 points). It's only a couple of months until election day, and the Republicans were hoping to curb Democratic election gains by chipping away at their lead. But it's going the other way instead.

The IBD / TIPP Poll was done between August 23rd and 30th of a national sample of 902 adults, with a 3.3 point margin of error.

The Emerson College Poll was done between August 29th and 31st of a national sample of 1,000 registered voters, with a 3.2 point margin of error.

The USA Today / Suffolk University Poll was done between August 23rd and 28th of 1,000 likely voters, with a margin of error of 3 points.

The ABC News / Washington Post Poll was done between August 26th and 29th of a national sample of 1,003 adults, with a margin of error of 3.6 points.
