I consider this a good thing to be honest. War is, and always has been, a racket. Trump is explicitly anti-war, and his cabinet picks so far have all been on record condemning the military industrial complex and literally calling it out by name. We've been engaged in endless proxy wars, financing and directly participating human suffering since before I was born. It's an open secret that a large number of the field-grade and general officer corps of the military get out and land cushy defense contracting exec jobs, enabling the military industrial complex with insider knowledge and greasing the wheels of war. I welcome the change.
