Mexico's Opinion Of The U.S. Has Been Seriously Damaged
I found these charts interesting. They are from a fairly recent Pew Research Center Poll -- done between March 2nd and April 10th of a sample of 1,000 Mexican citizens, with a 4.4 point margin of error.
During the presidency of Barack Obama, about 66% of the Mexican people had a favorable opinion of the United States. Under Donald Trump, that favorable opinion has fallen to 30% -- a drop of 36 points. Also, the confidence that the U.S. presidents would do the right thing regarding world affairs has dropped from 49% to only 5% -- a fall of 44 points.
Donald Trump has seriously damaged the relationship between the people of Mexico and the people of the United States.
