Things That Don't Exist

2 comments:

  1. a: When the owner of your local builder's merchant realises he has sufficient capital to opne a branch in the next town.

b: When they first drove railways across America.

c: He just picked Ryan as his 'Veep'.

    There you are, easy!

  2. a. That merchant won't open anything unless the demand for those goods exist. If it doesn't, he'll just tuck it away in the bank (like is currently being done).

    b. The railways were done with a lot of government help -- including government bonds, land grants, protection by U.S.Army, etc.

    c. Putting Ryan in any position of power would be an economic disaster for the United States. Of course, the veep has no power, so as long as he didn't become president I might give you that one. It actually removes him from his current position of power.
