Another GOP Lie Exposed

The Republican Party would love for Americans to believe that the actions of President Obama have increased this nation's dependence on foreign oil. That's a lie. As the chart above shows (taken from the blog Under The Mountain Bunker), the United States' dependence on foreign oil has decreased every year of the Obama presidency -- and for the first time in many years has dropped below 50% as a share of total consumption. Maybe someone should tell the GOP about the story of the "boy who cried wolf". Someday they may inadvertently tell the truth, and no one will believe them because of all their previous lies.
