This chart is from
the Gallup Poll. It shows the percentage of different demographic groups in the United States who are gun owners. The information was gleaned from 6 different polls taken by Gallup between 2007 and 2012, involving 6,103 adults randomly chosen from all 50 states (with a margin of error of 1 point). I found it interesting, and thought you might also.
I think what struck me the most is that out of these 66 categories, in only 5 of them did at least half the members own gun and in only 2 of them did it exceed 60%.
ReplyDeleteIt reaffirms the fact that despite all the talk about the cultural importance of guns, most of us do not own one.
