The NRA and others on the right-wing love to say that guns don't kill people, people kill people. Why then did they oppose the background checks for people trying to buy guns. Those background checks would be performed on people, not guns -- and those denied the right to buy a gun would be the same people that the NRA and right-wingers claim are so much more dangerous than guns. Their argument simply makes no sense. If it is people that kill other people, then it is people who should have to go through a background check to buy a gun.
Then why are the activists unuable to pass or even suggest laws that dont involve in some way restricting guns ammo or mags? Very little said about locking up crazy people, criminals using guns frequently have the gun violation portion of their crimes dropped, and zero has been said about the ridiculous amount of gun violence in movies.
