We need strong women in government like Ann. We also need to jettison our prejudices about women in high government office. Our young people are not as jaded or as dogmatic as my generation about 'a woman's place'. Where women have served our country in high office or elsewhere in our government they have done it with grace, professionalism, and competency. Ann Richards, Hillary Clinton, Elizabeth Warren, Wendy Davis, Nancy Pelosi, Barbara Jordan...and many many more to come.
