The 'Moms' and the Dems seemed to have succeeded in making Chicago a gun free city, well, gun free as far as middle-class people are concerned. Meanwhile the working-class (or idle class) continue to shoot each other with great enthusiasm - wasn't it ten in one day last week? Where are the 'Moms' when you need them?
I guess that's easy to say when you live in a country that doesn't have a problem with gun violence. Are you defending the rate of gun ownership in the United States? Would you prefer it if Great Britain had one gun in circulation for every citizen?
If I lived in certain parts of Britain then, yes, I would want a gun.
Anyway, don't avoid the question, you can't blame the Republicans for what's going on in Chicago because it has been a Dem city since your grandfather learned to walk! It is now under the strictest 'no guns' regime and guess what? The shooting gets worse not better.
It is also worth noting that the casualties are almost entirely amongst the poor black segment of society, you know, the ones whom Lefties say they care so much about! It really is time, Ted, if you don't mind me saying so, for you to replace your soppy sentimentality with some hard, clear, *realistic* thinking!
And you think Chicago will be helped by more guns and less gun restrictions? That's ridiculous. That's like saying let's cure your cancer with a little Ebola virus. The only "realistic" thinking is to get rid of most of the guns.
