Young Republicans Support Biden Tax Hike To Create Jobs

The chart above is from the Economist / YouGov Poll -- done between May 1st and 4th of a national sample of 1,500 adults, with a 2.6 point margin of error.

President Biden's plan to fix America's infrastructure and create new jobs would require a small tax increase on corporations and those making over $400,000 a year to pay for it. Republican leaders in Congress are opposing any increase in taxes for those entities.

But a significant part of the Republican Party is bucking the position of Republican leaders. Republicans under 45 years old actually support Biden's proposal, including the tax increase, by a 42 point margin (71% approve to 29% disapprove).
