Marijuana Legalized In Two States

It looks like the beginning of the end of marijuana prohibition has started in the United States. There were three states voting yesterday on whether to legalize (and tax) the recreational use of marijuana. Two of those states voted to do that -- Colorado and Washington. The measure failed in Oregon.

It is now time for the federal government to back off and let these states implement their new laws without interference. I fully believe that once it becomes clear that the new laws work for the benefit of everyone in Colorado and Washington, other states will soon follow. And this is a good thing.
