socialism is about people while capitalism is about money. capitalism was a good idea to build an economy but greed of profit has always taken over and negated the good that it was able to create. when only one or two percent, maybe five percent are allowed to control a vast majority of the wealth, the people are left behind with no, to use the word above, protection. problem is, americans think socialism is 1950's ussr. it's not!
