Well put! I have a similar take on humanity that I call the 95/5 principle: 95% of the people just want to have barbecues and see their kids in school plays, but there are 5% who screw everything up. Basically: there are normal people and then there are people who crave power. I really don't understand the latter group. But they mess everything up.
